An elearning module is available to help NDIS workers understand how to best support safe and enjoyable mealtimes
This training resource explores the Support Worker's role in supporting safe and enjoyable mealtimes. It also explores applying Positive Behaviour Support strategies at mealtimes,modifying food and drink consistency and safe food handling.
This course provides the skills and knowledge required to work respectfully with people from diverse social and cultural groups and situations, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
This course has been culturally tailored for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people working in the health and community sector. It can be adapted and used as both a learning and teaching resource to raise awareness of epilepsy in the community and provide information about seizures and seizure first aid.
